Den Åbne Opera / The Open Opera

Den Åbne Opera is a small opera company started by Freja in 2017. It is a versatile company that aims to challenge the way we do opera today. We strive to make performances that challenge the genre and to embrace a wider audience.

The opera company has so far produced Pagliacci, The Bear, Susanna og Figaros Bryllup, La Pizza con Funghi and The Doll Behind the Curtain.

We believe in collaboration and that together we can reach the furthest. Therefore we welcome anyone who has ideas for a project or teamwork that can contribute to developing the world of opera.
